Chicken Pot Pie


Pie Crust: makes double crust ( 9 inch pie plate).
2 cups sifted flour
1 tsp. salt
3/4 cup shortening
6 Tbs. cold water
Filling- Mix together
4 oz. sour cream
3 oz canned milk
1/2 cup grated Cheddar cheese
1 can cream of chicken soup
1/2 bunch cooked broccoli
2 deboned chicken breasts
Pie Crust: Sift flour and salt together.  Take out 2 Tbs. of flour.  Cut in shortening with pastry blender.  Mix water in bowl with 2 Tbs. of flour to form a paste and pour in bowl.  Divide into 2 balls and roll out between wax paper.
Filling:  Mix together sauce, 4 ounces sour cream, 3 ounces canned milk, 1/2 cup grated Cheddar cheese, and cream of chicken soup.  Place flowerets on bottom of crust.  Next, add chicken chunks to sauce and place sauce over broccoli.  Top with crust.  Put vent holes.  Bake at 300 degrees for 45-60 minutes.  Serves 6-8 people.
